Large Travertine Marble Mantel MBB 005

Very grand Italian marble from a 1920’s mansion in the Kenwood district of Minneapolis. A very timeless design. The mantle top in sitting on the floor . It is to heavy to display on the top of the marble fireplace. Very large , very rare, very heavy. The complete mantle in made in four pieces. Two plinths , main section , and the top mantle section.  . We don’t think it is possible to reproduce this mantle in this country any more, there was  a lot of hand finishing going on here! Very talented stone carvers.

Size 78″W x 58″H  with a 9″ to projection.   The mantel is over 3″ thick
