FABULOUS INDUSTRIAL MODERN BAR Circa 1938

Possibility the coolest bar we have ever had the pleasure of discovering.. Its’ streamlines are an extraordinary example of the  Modern Industrial Design movement  made famous by industrial designers like Raymond Loewy and Henry Dreyfuss. A rare gem of a bar unlike any other we have come across. It is in superb original condition. All we did is some major cleaning and tweaking.  Manufactured by the Allied Refrigeration Company of Pittsburgh Pa. 100% high grade polished stainless steel with Mahogany trim and cabinet doors. Stainless steel was a very expensive material to use  in that era.  The craftsmanship in fabricating this bar would  be hard to duplicate for any price. True artisans.  The bar was installed in the Bellevue Hotel in 1938 in Coreaopolis Pennsylvania  after the original bar was destroyed in a flood. The original Bar/Cafe was called Riddle’s, considered one of the finest watering holes in Pittsburg. It lasted until 1952 The hotel closed down in 1984 and the bar sat in darkness until 2018. This bar would be a fantastic functional centerpiece for any restaurant, brewery, distillery, coffee house or  home.  It screams of class and beauty in a very loud way.  CS
